Rev. Cynthia Williams is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. She presently serves as lead pastor at Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church in St. Paul, MN. Prior to joining Camphor, Cynthia served for over 24 years in local church settings, first as laity as a director of operations and 14 years as appointed clergy. She previously served eight years as district superintendent, leading clergy and supporting congregations in rural, urban, and suburban settings.
She was trained as a life coach via The Coaches Training Institute and is a Senior Reflective Supervisor with the Centre for Creative Supervision. Cynthia has a passion for calling organizations and individuals to live with deep intentionality in aligning their identity, purpose, and missional strategies. Prior to entering full-time ministry, Rev. Williams spent over 20 years in the corporate sector in customer operations with a focus on client intelligence, strategic planning, staff and systems development.
Rev. Williams earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Master of Divinity from Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN.
